Miami Beach Gets a Facelift

Ahh...the fabulous Miami Beach. Where cosmetic surgery is as warranted as bringing dogs into retail stores. Everywhere you look, bodies are nipped and tucked, lines are smoothed out in an instant and facial features are chiseled for aesthetic beauty and forever flawlessness. And, if you take good look, you will even notice that the ground you walk on is going under the knife. Miami Beach's City Center Neighborhood, nestled between Washington Avenue and Collins Avenue from Lincoln Road to Dade Boulevard, is getting a facelift of its own and the Vice is in the middle of it all. The multi-million dollar project has been underway since last September, with total roadway reconstruction, including water main and sewer systems, restoration of sidewalks, decorative crosswalks and new landscaping throughout the entire neighborhood. M. Vila and Associates General Contractors along with the City of Miami Beach Capital Improvement Projects Office have teamed up to rejuvenate this historical neighborhood and smooth out the signs of aging. Residents, have no fear because the Vice is especially involved as Public Information Officer to keep bystanders well informed of this procedure. This is one prime facelift that one can benefit from without the painful recovery.
